July 5th - Professor Wang Wei, President of the Guangxi Maritime Commercial and Maritime Law Research Association and Director of the International Economic and Trade Rules Research Institute at Guangxi University for Nationalities, along with Secretary Wang Jiamin, visited the M.U.S.T. Faculty of Law. Dean Fang Quan and Program Director Xie Gengliang from the Faculty of Law attended the reception.

Dean Fang Quan warmly welcomed the visit of the Guangxi Maritime Commercial and Maritime Law Research Association and provided an introduction to the faculty and student scale, teaching characteristics, national-level research platforms, affiliated institutions, and recent developments in external cooperation and exchanges at the Faculty of Law.
President Wang Wei presented an overview of the Guangxi Maritime Commercial and Maritime Law Research Association, emphasizing its role as an academic research institution actively responding to the national "Belt and Road" cooperation initiative and serving the ASEAN and regional economic development. He expressed the hope to establish a friendly relationship with the M.U.S.T. Faculty of Law and to initiate research collaboration in the fields of maritime commercial and maritime law, as well as maritime private international law, in order to expand practical exchanges and cooperation in talent cultivation. During the meeting, both parties established friendly contacts.
