On the morning of July 19th, the Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) held an Undergraduate Mentor Experience Sharing Workshop. The workshop aimed to actively support the implementation of the university's "mentorship system" and assist students in achieving growth and comprehensive development during their university studies. The workshop was chaired by Program Director Xie Gengliang, with the attendance of Program Directors Bi Jingwei, Mou Xiaobo, Professor Zhu Shihai, Assistant Professors, Shen Yunqiao, Zhu Feng, Dai Mengliang, Xue Wenchao, Zhou Ting, Xiao Huina, Zhang Chuanqi, Wong Wengkuok, Zhou Qin, Wang Wanli, and Liao Si.
This workshop was the second activity of the Faculty of Law's Summer Teaching and Research Workshop series. Its objective was to discuss and examine the implementation of the current mentorship system within the faculty. It aimed to strengthen the close connection between mentors and students, providing guidance and support in various aspects such as academic counseling, career planning, and personal development, while also respecting and promoting individual differences among students. Diverse and personalized counseling methods and guidance suggestions were provided to stimulate students' interest and motivation for learning, enabling them to achieve higher academic and personal development goals. Participating teachers shared their rich experiences as class mentors and academic advisors, engaging in extensive discussions on relevant issues. The "Undergraduate Mentor Experience Sharing Workshop" achieved positive outcomes.
The Faculty of Law at M.U.S.T. plans to organize several more teaching and research workshops during the summer to further enhance the faculty's teaching staff, curriculum development, talent cultivation, and teaching research, laying a solid foundation for improvement and guaranteeing quality.
