On the morning of September 21, Party Secretary Tan Wenzhong from Tongji University Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property, along with a delegation, visited the Faculty of Law. Professor Yi Zaicheng, Program Director Mou Xiaobo, and Assistant Professor Peng Yunpeng attended the reception. The delegation also included Professor Cheng Deli, Professor Pan Huibin, Teacher Han Yue, and six graduate students from Tongji University Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property.

During the meeting, Professor Yi Zaicheng introduced the current scale, teaching and research features, national platforms, and operation of affiliated institutions of the Faculty of Law, particularly highlighting the development of the Ministry of Education's key (overseas) humanities and social science partner base, the "Macau Intellectual Property Center," and the establishment of the " Intellectual Property Law Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (IPLAG) " led by the school. Party Secretary Tan Wenzhong and Professor Cheng Deli commended the achievements of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) in its short 23-year history and provided an overview of Tongji University Shanghai International School of Intellectual Property. "Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property" was established by the Shanghai Municipal Government, relying on Tongji University with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the China National Intellectual Property Administration. It mainly focuses on cultivating high-level talents such as multidisciplinary intellectual property law and management master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral candidates. Both parties expressed their desire to engage in active exchanges in the field of intellectual property, leveraging their respective strengths.
This meeting established friendly contacts between the two institutions, with the hope of initiating substantive cooperation in talent cultivation, discipline construction, student exchanges, academic research, and platform development in the future.
