On November 17, 2023, the Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology successfully held a meeting for the supervisors and students of the 2023 graduate cohort. The meeting was attended by Professor Fang Quan, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assistant Professor Bi Jingwei, the Program Director for the doctoral program, Assistant Professor Mou Xiaobo, the Program Director for the master's program, over 20 full-time faculty members from the Faculty of Law, and nearly 330 doctoral and master's students from the 2023 cohort. The meeting was presided over by Assistant Professor Bi Jingwei.
During the meeting, Assistant Professor Bi Jingwei introduced the graduate supervisors from various disciplines who were present at the meeting. Each teacher introduced their respective areas of expertise and research directions, shared valuable academic experiences and guidance methods, and explained their admission requirements, including academic background, learning abilities, and other relevant criteria.
In the interactive session of the meeting, students actively asked questions, and the teachers patiently answered them in their respective fields of expertise. This meeting provided an effective platform for mutual selection between supervisors and students. It not only helped students gain a deeper understanding of the professional fields of each supervisor but also provided them with important references for choosing research topics. The meeting concluded in a joyful atmosphere.
In 2023, the Faculty of Law offers a range of graduate programs. These include the following master's degree programs: Master of Law with specializations in Civil and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, and Constitutional and Administrative Law; Juris Master; Master of Criminal Justice; International Economic Commercial Law; Master of International Arbitration; and Master of Financial Crime and Regulation.
Additionally, the faculty offers a doctoral program with specializations in Legal Theory, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Civil Law and Business Law, Criminal Law, Economic Law, International Law, Legal Procedure, and Environmental and Natural Resources Protection Law.
