Led by Ms. Stella Yan, Senior Institutional Partnership Manager, Greater China and Ms. Jennie Hsu, Institutional and Corporate Partnership Manager, Hong Kong & Taiwan paid a visit to Macau University of Science and Technology in the morning of October 18, 2019. They were warmly received by Vice President Tong Ka Lok, Prof. Manson Fok, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Vice Dean Prof. Nivritti Patil and Prof. Zhang Kang.
Vice President Tong introduced the University’s latest progress and the development of scientific research. Dean Fok explained the first MBBS program held by the Faculty of Medicine. As being a pioneer of medical education of the Macau Special Administrative Region, we have successfully joined the “World Directory of Medical Schools (WDMS)”. The faculty will continue to adhere to its university motto in developing and optimizing its medical education, namely: “Dedication to practical studies, enhancement of knowledge, ability and quality humanity and excellence”. We have an innovative research team composed of clinical medicine and basic life science experts, which will actively promote medical and scientific research in Macau and Greater Bay Area.
Ms. Stella Yan affirmed the rapid growth of the Macau University of Science and Technology and the fruitful achievements in education and scientific research. At the same time, she introduced Nature Research and its development in Greater China, the construction of related scientific research services and future expansion planning. Both parties would extend various exchanges and scientific collaboration.
After the meeting, the guests visited the Center for Education in Medical Simulation.
