Ambassador Fernando Lugris of Uruguay to Beijing (Oriental Republic of Uruguay, República Oriental del Uruguay) paid a visit to UIC (University International College), M.U.S.T., on April 11, and was received by Prof. SUN Jianrong, Associate Vice President & Dean, and Assistant Prof. WANG Ting, Assistant Dean.
Ambassador Lugris learned more about the programs offered, the Macao Center for Research of Latin America (MCRLA), and other recent academic activities at UIC. Ambassador Lugris was impressed with the Spanish and Portuguese concentration tracks offered within the Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language Studies (BAFLS) program, and offered to provide resources and help to UIC students to learn more about Uruguay and other Latin American countries.
