‘Design of Wine Tourism Experiences: Role of Art and Transformational Services’ On-Line Workshop by Prof. Marianna Sigala

article04261545zcThe Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held its 4th Research Seminar Series on April 21st, 2021. Prof. Marianna Sigala, University of South Australia was invited to give a lecture named ‘Design of Wine Tourism Experiences: Role of Art and Transformational Services’, and the workshop was attended by FHTM Associate Professor Park Sung Hee, Assistant Professor Lee Younghee and nearly 100 FHTM teachers and postgraduate students. This workshop was sponsored by the Macao Foundation.

Prof. Marianna Sigala from University of South Australia

Professor Marianna Sigala is a Professor in Tourism and the Director of the Centre of Tourism & Leisure Management (CTLM) at UniSA Business, University of South Australia. She is also an academic member of the CERM PI team of UniSA.

Professor Marianna Sigala gave a lecture

Professor Marianna Sigala used different examples to illustrate and explain in detail how the combination of art, cultural heritage, and wine can be used for designing meaningful wine tourism experiences packages, and how to create and change consumers’ consumption patterns and transform products’ value to increase social innovation. FHTM teachers and students enthusiastically interacted and discussed.
