The Macau University of Science and Technology, as the only overseas university invited, presented a report at the 22nd National University Economics and Management Laboratory Construction and Economic Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Construction Online Seminar on November 13 and 14, 2021. This seminar was sponsored by the Economics and Management Discipline Group of the Joint Conference of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Colleges and Universities.
The seminar was organized by South China Agricultural University, and supported by the Agricultural Economic Management Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, as well as eight other well-known co-organizers. The theme of this seminar is "New agricultural and commercial integration and cohesion, new driving forces are realistic and promote development." The seminar invited scholars and experts from top universities across the country, including South China Agricultural University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Shandong University, Xiamen University, and other well-known universities, as well as the Ministry of Higher Education, National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Colleges and Universities Executive, and others.

Associate Professor Jose Weng Chou Wong of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) presented a report on "Experiential Learning Course Design and Practice" according to four frameworks of experiential learning, including "Curriculum Conceptualization", "Professional Practice Application", "Experience" and "Reflection", and shared the curriculum course design experience with mainland universities based on recent development of FHTM.
Under the rapid development of the Greater Bay Area, FHTM will continue to improve the level of teaching, work closely with other universities across the country and experts in various fields, continue to strengthen research and cooperation in disciplines and frontier fields, and promote Macao’s international presence in the field of hotel tourism.
