Sands China Ltd Donated 120000 MOP Scholarship to Macau University of Science and Technology Motivating M U S T students to Strive Harder for Excell

Sands China Ltd. made a donation of MOP 120,000 as scholarships to students of Macau University of Science and Technology. The donation ceremony was held at 10.00 a.m. on September 11th in the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. Mr. Edward Tracy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sands China Ltd. delivered the MOP 120,000 scholarship to Vice-president of M.U.S.T., Prof. Chen Xi; Ms. Melina Leong, Vice-president of Public Relations & Community Affairs for Venetian Macau Limited, Mr. Antonio Ramirez, Senior Vice-president of Human Resources, Venetian Macau Limited, and Ms. Remus Wong Ka Weng, Head of the Student Affairs Office of M.U.S.T. attended the donation ceremony.

Sands China Ltd. has always been active and generous in showing support for the development of Macao’s higher education by donating scholarships to Macau students; this has been the seventh consecutive year of cooperation between Sands China Ltd. and M.U.S.T. in the form of offering scholarships. At the donation ceremony, Vice president, Prof. Chen Xi of M.U.S.T. introduced Mr. Edward Tracy to the latest development of the university, the faculties, the students’ academic and extra-curricular achievements, and other key features; the two parties also exchanged ideas on career training for students and effective integration of theory and practice in the instructions of tourism programs. Through this opportunity for sharing, the two parties have reinforced the platform of friendly cooperation between Sands China Ltd. and M.U.S.T., facilitating their joining hands in advancing Macao’s higher education.
