The Seasons, a training restaurant of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST),accorded FHTM students and industry an unusual opportunity to discover the secret of Joseph Mellot, a famous French winery, on Sep 24. This event was co-sponsored by Summergate Limited (Macau).
Ms. Catherine Mellot, a world-class winery owner, was invited to share the legend of a five-century winemaking heritage family with guests. She also selected carefully a series of great wines from various “terroir” in the central France to this event.
During the Master Class, Ms. Catherine Mellot shared an exclusive tasting of “Joseph Mellot” wines with the guests, which helped wine professionals learn further about the charm of wine production of Joseph Mellot in the Centre-Loire region. The FHTM students also enhanced their knowledge of French wine and improved tasting technics through this Master Class. Afterwards, the chef of The Seasons designed a sumptuous menu to complement the outstanding “Joseph Mellot” wines, together with Ms. Catherine Mellot, the chef and sommelier of the Seasons introduced the specialty of the wine paring to the guests. All participants enjoyed an unforgettable taste feast and spend a wonderful time in the Seasons.
