Mr. Chui Sai Cheong holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a doctorate degree from the law school of Renmin University of China; he is the chief partner of CSC & Associates, Auditors and the board member and managing director of Chui’s Investment Co. Ltd., member of the national committee of the CPPCC, member of the Legislative Assembly of the Macau Special Administrative Region, president of the Macau Management Association, president of the Union of Associations of Professional Accountants of Macau, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the MUST Foundation, director of the Macau Basic Law Promotion Association, vice-president of the Macao Chamber of Commerce, and chairman of the Macau Tong Sin Tung Charitable Society. In 2001 he was awarded the “Medal of Professional Merit” by the Macau government.

Mr. Chui Sai Cheong has been enthusiastic in serving the community and striving for public welfare. He has acted on and advanced the Tong Sin Tung spirit, made significant contributions by providing help, free medicine and medical care, free education, free nursing and emergency rescue and other assistance for the poor and the needy, and dedicated effort and energy to Macau’s development of philanthropy and public welfare. Over the past years, Mr. Chui Sai Cheong has been active in calling for the reinforcement of education of local Macau professional talent, the promotion of cooperation, innovative collaboration and joint advancement with the mainland; he has given support to multi-dimensional educational collaborations between Macau and the mainland and has never ceased to work hard for the sustainable development of Macau. Mr. Chui Sai Cheong loves his country and, equally, he loves Macau; he strongly recommends making optimal use of Macau’s own distinctive strengths and working together with all walks of life to construct a harmonious society and improve the comprehensive quality of life of the residents.

Mr. Chui Sai Cheong is one of the founders of Macau University of Science and Technology; he has witnessed each different phase of MUST’s path of development: from its infancy, its childhood, to its maturity, and has contributed new strengths of development to Macau’s higher education.
