On Apr.14th, 2018, a group of students from FHTM of M.U.S.T. left for Zhongshan to visit the Matakana Club, led by the Program Director, Yan Feng.
Students and Dr. Feng proceeded to Matakana Estate at noon. After visiting public area accompanied by the staff, they came to the club members’ area. Magnificent decoration and exclusive dinning environment made the people feel comfortable and relaxed. Moreover, with listening attentively to the introduction of New Zealand and Matakana, students had comprehended folk customs of New Zealand and gained a completely new understanding of Matakana Club. Then the managers shared the basic knowledge of the wine with the students, and the students actively asked questions. Additionally, students had tried three types of wine and had learned the steps of wine-tasting.
The delicous afternoon tea bufet provided by Matakana Club brought joys and ended the fantastic visit. Students gained a lot, and all intended to put what them learn into practice. Let’s looking forward to the next visit!
