The Food and Beverage management curriculum was designed under the concept of “Farm to Table”. Therefore, the FHTM has been arranging field trip to organic farm every year for our year 1 F&B students. This year, the field trip was scheduled on April 28, 2019. With the lead of the instructor, Mr. Benjamin Chen, there were twenty some students joined this trip including some BITM students. Students were divided into groups and in charge of fertilizing, watering and picking out the green lacewings. The farmer also taught students to make organic compost. Students also fed the livestock. Students had enjoyed the trip and learnt a lot from this trip. This field trip is sponsored by Macao Foundation.
