Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade EXPO 2019 was held in Guangzhou on 12 – 14 November. This was the first time for the Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) to participate in the Intellectual Property Trade EXPO. As an exhibition member, M.U.S.T. exhibited the activities and information of the Faculty, Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property and the achievement of the Intellectual Property Law Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Faculty of Law hoped that to enhance the exchange opportunities with other Universities and pushed ahead the cooperation in the Intellectual Property field.

This exhibition was jointly organized by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation (Guangdong Intellectual Property Administration), Guangzhou Municipal Government, Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Economic Bureau of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region. This exhibition was focused on the integration of global trading liberalization and innovation development in Bay Area. A series of activities including the opening ceremony with topical forum, Intellectual Property Pearl River Forum and Intellectual Property exhibition, etc. There were six main exhibition areas in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade EXPO and Intellectual Property Pearl River Forum. This created the innovation ecological industrial chain of the intellectual property. Many units, such as domestic and overseas Universities, scientific research institutes, high-tech enterprises, cultural and creative enterprises, representatives of the worldwide well-known enterprises, Intellectual Property experts, head of Intellectual Property Organizations were participated in the captioned exhibition and forum.
