The meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Faculty of Law for the academic year 2020/2021 was held in the morning of April 28th in Conference Room R104, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The meeting was conducted in a mixed online and offline manner.
The meeting was attended by Chairperson Fang Quan of the Faculty of Law MUST, Lawyer Lei Wun Kong, member of the Committee for the Basic Law of Macau of the National People's Congress, Professor Chen Duanhong of Peking University School of Law, Professor Liu Chien Hung of the Department of Law, Registrar of Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, President Lao Chak Kuong of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law of the Macau University of Science and Technology, Lawyer Oriana Inácio Pun of PUN CHOI & CHAN Law Firm, Lawyer Lou Sio Fong of Macao Lou Sio Fong Law Firm, Lawyer Lu Gui Ping of K&L Gates LLP, Program Director Xie Geng Liang, Secretary of the Advisory Committee, and Assistant Professor Chen Bo, representative of Faculty members. Some of the members were unable to attend the meeting.

During the meeting, Chairperson Fang Quan briefed the members on the basic situation of the Faulty of Law, including enrollment, teaching, program evaluation, research, academic activities, operation of the institution, external cooperation and exchange of the Faculty, and the establishment of the Alumni Association. In this meeting, the members made valuable suggestions on inter-institutional cooperation and exchange, construction and operation of affiliated institutions, and construction and extension of online classrooms. The members fully affirmed the achievements of the Faculty and offered suggestions for the future development of the Faculty, hoping that the Faculty would respond to the development and construction needs of the Greater Bay Area, take advantage of the multicultural background and regional advantages, and strive to cultivate cross-disciplinary legal talents.
