From June 8 to 9, Dean Professor Fang Quan visited Tianjin Normal University and was warmly received by the department leaders of its Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan issues and the Law School.
The Law School of Tianjin Normal University visited the Faculty of Law, Macau University of Science and Technology in 2019. The two universities and faculties also signed a framework agreement on cooperation and an agreement on student exchange. In the afternoon of June 8, Dean Professor Fang Quan had a discussion with the leaders of Tianjin Normal University Law School. Dean Professor Fang introduced the development of the Faculty of Law, MUST. She said that MUST Law attaches great importance to the cooperation with Tianjin Normal University Law School, and will further implement the cooperation agreement reached in the future. She expressed the wishes that both sides will strengthen cooperation in many areas such as teacher-student exchange, scientific research cooperation, and promotion of academic exchanges between Tianjin and Macao.
In the morning of June 9, Dean Professor Fang Quan, joined by the leaders of the Law School of Tianjin Normal University, met with the leaders of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of Tianjin Normal University. The attendants included Director Yang Wei, Dean Hao Lei, Deputy Director Liu Tong, Section Chief Su Bo, and teacher Chao Xiaojun. Both sides exchanged views on the prospects of comprehensive cooperation between the two institutions.
In the evening, Dean Professor Fang Quan gave a lecture entitled "Criminalization of General Assistance Obligations" to the students and faculty of the Tianjin Normal University Law School. After the lecture, Dean Professor Fang Quan also introduced to the students the development and enrollment of the Faculty of Law of the Macau University of Science and Technology.
