On the afternoon of September 27, 2023, the members of the 22nd Student Union Cabinet of the Faculty of Law paid a visit to the college. Dean Fang Quan and faculty representatives, including Assistant Professor Xie Gengliang, Program Director, Assistant Professor Bi Jingwei, Program Director, Assistant Professor Mou Xiaobo, Program Director, Assistant Professor Peng Yunpeng, and Assistant Professor Zhou Ting, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Dean Fang Quan and the faculty representatives listened to the work reports of the new cabinet members of the Student Union regarding the election process, institutional reforms, department responsibilities, and activities of the current term. Dean Fang Quan congratulated the new cabinet members of the Student Union and emphasized the importance of the Student Union in the development of the college and student affairs. The faculty representatives of the Faculty of Law highly praised the efforts and achievements of the Student Union members in their work and provided suggestions and recommendations for their future work. They hoped that the Student Union would uphold the concept of serving students, play a leading and bridging role, and work together with the college to create a positive learning atmosphere and campus culture.
Finally, Dean Fang Quan put forward three expectations. First, she hoped that the Student Union would better serve as a communication bridge between all undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law and the college. Second, she hoped that the Student Union would further strengthen its connections and exchanges with student organizations in other universities. Third, she hoped that the Student Union would continue to enhance its own development, while improving its work and internal construction, and also pay attention to academic studies and personal comprehensive development.
