The MSB Advisory Board meeting in 2018/2019 academic year was held on Campus on 12nd December, 2018. Members who attended the meeting include: Mr. Paulo Tse, Executive Director, Macao Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Maurice WF Ngai, the Past President, The Hong Kong Institute of Charted Secretaries, Mr. Raymond Bao, Partner in charge, EY accounting Firm (Macau), Mr. Chang Chak-Io, Jack, Vice chairman, Executive Board, Macau Economic Association, Mr. Kwan Yany Yan-Chi, Vice President, Center for Macau Development Strategy, Mr. Raymond W.M. Lo, Executive Director and Managing Director, Macau Menzies Aviation Group Ltd, Mr. Wen De-Xin, Assistant to CEO and General Manager of Corporate Quality, Macau Airline Group, Mr. Sam Tou, Executive Director, Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU), Macau, Mr. Ieong Chi-Kuong, Banking Business Director of Bank of China, Macau Branch. Mr. Paulo Tse, the chairman of the committee, welcomed newly appointed members in the meeting.
Professor Lin Zhi-Jun, Dean of MSB and Professor Sheng Ni, Vice Dean of MSB, reported the work in the past academic year, including brief review of teaching and learning activities, faculty members’ and students’ achievement, academic exchange, the progress of AACSB accreditation and the teaching and research plan for the next academic year. The Advisory Board members have actively provided valuable advices and suggestions on MSB’s strategic development. Professor Lin thanked all members for their support to MSB. He also expressed that the role of the MSB Advisory Board will be enhanced; the network construction of alumni or Student Union will be strengthened; and the support of the industry or alumni for the construction and development of MSB will be given full play.
