MUST Social Service Team organized a volunteer visit to stray cats during the winter recess

To care for and help stray animals, arouse college students' love and responsibility for animals and other lives, advocate the spirit of “no abandoning” and “adoption instead of buying”, Social Service Team of the MUST Student Affairs Office organized students to visit stray cats in the Cat Paradise of Society for the Protection of Animals Macau on the first day of winter recess. The activity was held on February 3, attracted 24 students from different colleges participated in, led by team leader Lin Yunyi, deputy team leader Lam Weng Io and Zhou Fan.

During the activity, students worked together to clean the cat house, including cleaning the litter boxes, washing dishes, vacuuming, and helping to prepare dinner for cats. After the event, team member Deng Zhutian said that the event gave her a chance to know about the current living situation of stray cats in Macao. They are being taken care of by some people, who provide them a temporary home. In addition, through the volunteer activity, she acquired a better understanding of the meaning of "adoption instead of buying". She also wanted to invite her friends to join in the activities of animal protection.

Macau Cat Paradise belongs ANIMA, this association is committed to providing appropriate treatment methods to safeguard the dignity of all creatures. At the same time, it encourages people to help animals return to communities through adoptions.
