The Student Union and Student Affairs Office of Macau University of Science and Technology are committed to promoting the development of student associations and actively building a platform for high-quality association activities for students. With the support of the Student Union and Student Affairs Office, the MUST Model United Nations Association successfully held the "Macau University of Science and Technology Model United Nations 2022 International Relations Forum" in M.U.S.T campus from February 19 to 20, 2022. A total of 45 delegations attended this forum, and they respectively came from Macau University of Science and Technology, the University of Macau, City University of Macau, Kao Yip Middle School, Sacred Heart Canossian College, Yuet Wah College, Lingnan Middle School and some other Macau-based schools.
At the beginning of the forum, delegates focused on "Questioning on Certain Trade Issues of The Russian Federation by The European Union" and "Discussion on Changes to WTO Rules by the United States of America Proposed by The United States” as well as other sub-topics. A heated discussion is launched with exchanging of opinions from all parties.
At the end of the forum, the Dais gave a summary. The successful holding of the forum fully demonstrated the teamwork spirit and academic standards of M.U.S.T students, and at the same time made our students more aware of international relations issues. In order to promote academic exchanges among Macau-based schools, The M.U.S.T. Model United Nations Association will hold The M.U.S.T. Model United Nations Conference 2022 from March 26 to 27. In the future, The M.U.S.T. Model United Nations Association will adhere to an activity model that combines theory and practice in the future, enrich the activity experience of the association, and enhance the academic knowledge and communication skills of students, to help more students develop their potential.
