Students led busy lives every day. From the moment we opened our eyes in the morning, we juggle our packed schedules, our daily hassles and our social lives with others. Daily rest only emerge at the moment we lie on bed and close our eyes at night. Our schedules are full and we work hard every day, but we might have a feeling that we are missing out something in life.

Take time for yourself

Usually, our thoughts are about how to use our time to the fullest. We try to pack our studies, work, and everything in a day. Time Management theories encourage us to prioritize our tasks and to use every minute efficiently. But what’s next? What should we do with our free time?

Have you ever thought about using your time differently? Instead of studying or working, you can use your time to calm yourself, to enjoy the moment of life and to feel the vibes of the here and now.

When you feel a lack of motivation to do something, it might mean that it’s time for a recharge. Try to slow yourself down and to have some “me time”, whether it is an hour, thirty minutes, or even fifteen minutes. Save a little time for yourself every day, so you could have the courage to face daily challenges and the serenity to tranquil your mind and body. 

We work hard and study hard every day for a prosperous future, if we are willing to put in so much effort for a better life, why not spend some time to savor and enjoy the moment we are experiencing now?

Don't underestimate the power of a small habit, it may lead to big changes over time. A little self-care each day is beneficial for emotional regulation and might elicit our passion and motivation for work. For all the above reasons, it is crucial to practice self-care and to take time for yourself in daily lives.
