The teaching objectives of University Mathematics are to enable students to grasp basic mathematical concepts and commonly used mathematical operations, train and foster students’ abilities in calculation and problem-solving, and prepare students in terms of mathematical knowledge for their future studies and careers.
In accordance with the curriculum, all undergraduates must complete 3 credits of University Mathematics courses*.
*Except for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
