Main Research Focuses:
- Development of new formulation technology for preparatory Chinese medicinal products by controlling the release time, speed and location of the active components for optimal therapeutic effect and reduce adverse reactions;
- Establishment of the new nano-drug delivery systems, including the use of nano-crystallization, emulsion, solid self-emulsifying drug delivery systems, solid lipid nanoparticles, nano-liposomes, polymer micelles, inorganic nano-carrier etc., for enhancing pharmacological effects of the bioactive ingredients. Development of new nano-formulation for enhancing its bioavailability and targeting, reducing adverse reactions through bio-pharmacy and drug kinetic mechanism, and providing scientific basis for innovative research of Chinese herbal medicine.
