Organized by the Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation of Zhuhai City, the Zhuhai City Series of Activities to Promote the Transfer and Transformation of Domestic and Foreign Scientific and Technological Achievements - Macao Special Event was successfully held on December 1, 2021 at MGM MACAU.
This event was highly valued by Guangdong and Macao. At the kick-off ceremony, Mr. Luo Qihong, Vice Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and Director of the Bureau of Foreign Experts of Guangdong Province, Mr. Wang Lei, Director of the Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation of Zhuhai City, Mr. Chan Cho Vinh, Acting Director of the Bureau of Economic and Technological Development of Macao, Mr. Huang Wen Sheng, Vice Mayor of Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai City, and Mr. Guo Li, Director of the Research Management Department of the Macau University of Science and Technology, were present to cut the ribbon for this series of activities.
A total of three projects were selected by MUST to participate in the on-site roadshow. In the end, the project "JianShanBao" by Associate Professor Liang LiHan from the State Key Laboratory of Chinese Medicine Quality Research won the "Most Investment Potential Award"; the projects "Research and Development of Key Technologies for Next Generation Interventional Radiotherapy Robot" and "Universal Quality Inspection Platform Based on Machine Vision" won the "Outstanding Roadshow Award".
In the context of the Australia-Pearl River Delta Science and Technology Innovation Collaboration, the University to promote the scientific and technological progress of Macao as its mission, and actively promote the results of scientific research and enterprises and capital of the depth of industry-academia-research interface, in order to promote the transfer of scientific research results to achieve transformation, to help Macao's moderate economic diversification and sustainable development, to enhance the role of Macao's position in science and technology innovation in the Greater Bay Area.
