Dear leaders and colleagues:
Our university has received notification from the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission that applications for the "2023 Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau Science and Technology Program Projects (Category C Projects)" have officially accepted. The colleagues who are interested in applying the application obtain the approval from your Faculty/ Research Institute/ Research Supervisor of Department, then reply to this email and copied it to the Faculty/ Research Institute/ Research Supervisor of Department. And make sure to submit your application within the internal deadline (on or before May 26, 2022).
The research project for this grant has the following requirements:
1. The Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Project (Category C project) is applied by Hong Kong and Macao applicants, evaluated and funded by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee, and the Shenzhen financial support funds are directly allocated to the accounts of Hong Kong and Macao applicants, which can be spent in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao according to the project contract.
2. Key areas: Internet of things, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, new displays, information security, 5G, quantum information, third-generation semiconductors; medical biotechnology, medical devices, population health technology, water environment management and ecological restoration, agricultural bio-breeding; graphene materials, advanced electronic information materials, display materials, new energy materials, high-performance polymer materials, hydrogen energy and fuel cells; robotics and intelligent equipment, intelligent unmanned systems, additive manufacturing and laser manufacturing, fuel cells; robotics and intelligent equipment, intelligent unmanned systems, additive manufacturing and laser manufacturing.
3. The maximum amount of funding for a single project is RMB 3 million and the implementation period is 2 years. If there is a cooperative unit, it is recommended to sign a cooperation agreement and indicate the distribution of funding.
4. Please refer to the application guidelines for this project for specific application criteria and requirements. In particular, please note that the principal investigator and project members should not undertake or participate in more than one project under the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Program or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle project.
5. If the project involves research ethics and science and technology security, provide the relevant procedures required by the relevant national laws and regulations and ethical standards.
6. After the PI reply this email, RTAO will arrange to open an account on the Shenzhen Technology Business Management System website and the PI will fill in the application form online.
