[Research Notice] Applications for “Annual Funding Plan for Higher Education Institutions (2022 to August, 2023)” is available

Applications for the “Subsidy for Professional Development of Teaching and Research Staff of Higher Education Institutions in Macao” and “Subsidy for Cooperative Development Projects of Higher Education Institutions in Macao” of “Annual Funding Plan for Higher Education Institutions (2022 to August, 2023)” is available. Since the Education Fund has not yet been officially announced to the public, the application’s detail should be referred to the official notice of the fund.If there is any update, we will notify in time.

Subsidy for Professional Development of Teaching and Research Staff of Higher Education Institutions in Macao

Subsidy content: Teaching and research staff participate in training that helps enhance their personal professional development or present dissertations or theses in seminars.

Documents need to be submitted:

1.An application form(Attachment 1).

2.Information about relevant training, seminars and dissertations: including the background of the training or seminar, implementation information, abstract of the dissertation, a confirmation letter of acceptance to participate in the training or present the dissertation at a seminar.

3.Other information for reference: including quotation documents, reference exchange rates and other supplementary documents that help obtain approval of the application projects has to be submitted.

The time for applying is ①2022.08-09.30 / ②2023.01.01-31. Applications are to be made no less than 60 days before the start of the project.

The time for executing is ①2022-2023.08 / ②2023.04-08.

Notes:

1.Please read the Regulations carefully.

2.Each eligible person will be funded once per academic year.

3.Maximum funding percentage is 70%. Maximum funding amount is $13,000.00.

4.The University will prioritize the applications.

Subsidy for Cooperative Development Projects of Higher Education Institutions in Macao

The funded projects:

1.Chinese-Portuguese talent training and educational cooperation.

2.Development of tourism education and training.(FHTM is coordinating.)

3.Cross-school services and resources sharing.

4.Other joint school or regional cooperation and exchange projects.

Documents need to be submitted:

1.An application form(Attachment 2).

2.Project plan(please refer to 5.3 of Chapter 5 of Regulations).

3.Project cooperation agreement if applicable(please refer to 5.3 of Chapter 5 of Regulations).

4.Other information for reference: including quotation documents, reference exchange rates and other supplementary documents that help obtain approval of the application projects has to be submitted.

The time for applying is 2022.08-09.30. Applications are to be made no less than 60 days before the start of the project.

The time for executing is 2022-2023.08.

Notes:

1.Please read the Regulations carefully.

2.Each private institution of higher education may apply for a maximum of 20 projects per academic year.

3.The University will prioritize the applications.

The colleagues who are interested in applying the application obtain the approval from your Faculty/ Research Institute/ Research Supervisor of Department, then reply to this email and copied it to the Faculty/ Research Institute/ Research Supervisor of Department before 23/9/2022. Reply email should be with applications’ documents.
