Required Documents for Master applicants

2	Graduation Certificate of Bachelor’s Degree^{1, 2}	Potential graduates please upload a testimonial of study instead of graduation certificate (Except the potential graduates from MUST) Scan copy of the diploma/higher certificate is also required to upload if the applicant’s bachelor degree was top-up from diploma/higher certificate level
3	Notarized academic qualification certification (Only apply for applicants from mainland China)	Please refer to the Chinese version for details
4	Academic Transcript of Bachelor’s Degree¹	Uploaded transcript must be verified and stamped by the applicant’s studying institutions. Please also provide the page of the grading system explanation Potential graduates from MUST are only required to upload the E-transcript printed from the COES Scan copy of the transcript of diploma/higher certificate is also required to upload if the applicant’s bachelor degree was top-up from diploma/higher certificate level
5	Recommendation Letter	At least one recommendation letter should be submitted (except recommended applicants) Invite referee(s) to fill out the online recommendation form in the Online Application System, or upload an recommendation letter. Recommendation letter(s) can be filled out using the template (click here to download), or written by the referee(s). Both Chinese and English are acceptable.
6	Personal Statement	A personal statement of about 200 words. Both Chinese and English are acceptable. Personal Statement may include: reasons for applying to our university/program, personal academic background, research areas of interest, social activities you have participated in, etc.
7	Personal Photo	Size: Passport size (Resolution≧200dpi) Color of background: Any color Other requirements: Bareheaded, facing in front, close shot in face and the upper body; recently-taken within six months
8	Certification of Employment	Compulsory for the applicants applying for the program of MBA or Executive MBA Submitted work certificate must be stamped by the working company. Employee cards, employment certificates will not be accepted
9	Certification of English Proficiency	English Proficiency Requirements. Compulsory for the applicants applying for the following program: Master of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Master of Arts in Foreign Language Studies Master of Science (Information Technology) Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Data Science Master of Environmental Science and Management Master of Pharmacy Master of Education Master of Materials Science and Engineering
10	Portfolio	Compulsory for applicants applying for the program of Design, Fine Arts and Architecture Other requirements: Only PDF format will be accepted and cannot be larger than 10MB³
11	Musical Performance	Compulsory for applicants applying for the program of Innovative Music Requirement: Applicants should submit vocal or instrumental performance videos, or representative concert performance videos recorded within the last 2 years. Each applicant should submit 1 performance video, in either MP4 or MOV format, with a highest resolution of 1080p and a file-size limit of no more than 100 MB. The overall length of the video should be kept within 10 minutes. Candidates should Include a concise introduction to their video submissions, encompassing details such as the date, venue, repertoire, and any other relevant details. Videos must be uploaded to either Baidu Cloud Drive or Google Drive. It is essential for candidates to create their personal cloud drive accounts and provide a permanent link or private link to the cloud drive containing their videos.
12	Supporting documents	Certification of professional qualification or other supporting documents³. Applicants apply for master’s degree program of the Faculty of Chinese Medicine and School of Pharmacy are required to submit a Research Proposal during application.

8	Recommendation Letters	At least two recommendation letters should be submitted. Invite referee(s) to fill out the online recommendation form in the Online Application System, or upload an recommendation letter. Recommendation letter(s) can be filled out using the template (click here to download), or written by the referee(s). Both Chinese and English are acceptable. Recommendation letters should be completed/written by academic experts (e.g. professor of a course or the applicant’s reported supervisors at work), or other experts who have deeply understanding of the applicant
9	Personal Statement	A personal statement of about 200 words. Both Chinese and English are acceptable. Personal Statement may include: reasons for applying to our university/program, personal academic background, research areas of interest, social activities you have participated in, etc.

14	Musical Performance	Compulsory for applicants applying for the program of Doctor of Philosophy in Musicology, major in Music Theory and Practice Requirement: Candidates are required to submit a video recording of their master' s graduation recital or a notable musical performance video from within the past 3 years, presenting at least 3 masterpieces (the video can be a single file or uploaded in a folder). The accepted video formats are limited to MP4 or MOV, with a maximum resolution of 1080p, and the file size should not exceed 300MB. The overall length of the video should be kept within 20 minutes. Candidates should Include a concise introduction to their video submissions, encompassing details such as the date, venue, repertoire, and any other relevant details. Videos must be uploaded to either Baidu Cloud Drive or Google Drive. It is essential for candidates to create their personal cloud drive accounts and provide a permanent link or private link to the cloud drive containing their videos.
15	Supporting documents	Certification of professional qualification or other supporting documents

Remarks:

All application documents which are not in Chinese or English should be accompanied with a translated version in Chinese or English issued by a recognized translation company.
The applicant’s previous academic qualifications (Bachelor's or Master's degrees) must be recognized by the Macao SAR Government or the Ministry of Education of China. Once the candidates from mainland China have been accepted, they must submit the pre-requisite certification documents at the time of registration.
The electronic file of each uploaded application document cannot be larger than 2MB (Portfolio cannot be larger than 10MB). Only PDF format will be accepted for upload (ID card and personal photo are only accepted in JPG format). If there is more than one page in one document, please scan all the pages into one PDF file before upload.
The School of Graduate Studies has the right to require applicants provide original copy of the above documents for verification, applicants may also be required to provide any other supporting documents if necessary.
Applicants who fail to submit the required documents during the application/ registration period, or submit false or forged documents, will be disqualified from application/admission.

According to the laws of the Macau S.A.R., forgery of documents is subject to criminal responsibility. The University will reserve the right to pursue legal action if the applicant is found to submit forged documents.
