I. Educational Objectives
The Master of Public Health program aims to provide postgraduate training for students who would like to develop their careers in the area of Public Health. This program will equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to work in different fields of Public Health.
II. Program Duration
The normal study period of Master of Public Health is 2 years. The maximum study period is 3 years.

VII. Teaching Requirements
- Students are required to complete ten core courses listed in Table 1 during the first two semesters to gain 30 credits.
- Students are required to complete an original research master’s dissertation in about 10,000-15,000 words and pass the thesis oral. The thesis must be written in English.
- After finishing each course, students will be assessed based on regulations established by the instructor and the Faculty.
VIII. Study Time
- The duration for taking all courses is 12 months and no less than 6 months of thesis writing, up to 12 months.
- Classes will generally be scheduled atdaytime on Saturdays and Sundays.
IX. Graduation Requirements
Upon approval from the Senate of the University, a Master’s Degree will be conferred on a student when he or she has:
- Completed and met the requirements prescribed in the study plan of his or her program within the specific study period and achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or above (excluding dissertation);
- Abided by the regulations of the University;
- Cleared all fees and charges and returned all University’s property and equipment borrowed.
Students who pass all core courses stipulated in Table 1 with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, but fail to submit or pass the final thesis oral defense within the specified period can only obtain a completion certificate.
