Spring Admissions to Postgraduate Programs
for the Academic Year 2021/2022

(Application period: September 1st to 30th, 2021)

Applications for Spring 2022 admissions will be open on September 1st of 2021. The commencement of the classes will be in mid-January of 2022.

The prerequisites are as follows:

  • An applicant of a Master’s degree program must have a Bachelor’s degree. An applicant of a doctoral program must have a Master’s degree.
  • Applicants have met the admission requirements of the program.
  • Applicants who have received 2021 entry offer(s) from other institutions will be given priority consideration.

Applicants must submit the online application on the Online Application System before 6 p.m. September 30th, 2021 (GMT+8). (Fill in the required information, upload application documents, and settle the application fee.)

Bachelor’s degree holder. Major in Public Health or related fields

Remarks: The other postgraduate programs not listed above are not available for Spring 2022 admissions. The application for Fall 2022 admissions will be open on October 7th, 2021.

 

Notes for Admission

1. Application Procedures

  1. Applicants must log in to the Online Application System (OAS) (https://oas.must.edu.mo/admission/index.htm) before the application deadline. To complete all application procedures, including fill in all required information, upload application documents, submit the application for initial assessment, and settle the application fee.
  2. Applicants are required to upload application documents through the Online Application System. If the applicant lacks any required document(s), it will result in the disqualification of the initial assessment.
  3. The Online Application System will be closed at 6 p.m. on the date of the deadline(GMT+8). After the application system is closed, no applications will be accepted.
  4. Applicants must open application accounts with valid identity documents. Suppose the applicant holds more than one identity documents issued by different countries/regions. In that case, the relevant applicant should consider whether the identity documents used for the application can be valid during the whole study period. Please note: residents from mainland China must register with Mainland ID cards. Applicants who registered with invalid identity documents, their applications will be considered invalid. The application fees will not be refund or transfer.
  5. An applicant of a doctoral program is required to fill in the proposed thesis supervisor and submit a research proposal. Therefore, relevant applicants should first take a look at the list of thesis supervisors and prepare the research proposal early. A list of thesis supervisors can be found on our website. Applicants are required to contact the intended thesis supervisors before applying.

2. Student VISA and Stay Permit

  1. According to the regulations of the Macao Special Administrative Region, non-local residents study in higher education institutions in Macau must ensure that they are eligible to enter Macau with legal documents and visas, and must go to the Macau Immigration Department to apply special stay permit for study. Non-local residents must understand on their own whether the identity documents held are in compliance with the relevant Macau law requirements for non-local students. (Mainland China residents must hold student visas)
  2. Non-local students should take full responsibility for the issues affected by the change of their identity documents problem during the study.

3. Cancel Admission

The University reserves the right to cancel the applicant's admission qualifications in any of the following circumstances:

  1. The documents and materials submitted are untrue or fraudulent;
  2. Failure to obtain the required academic qualifications at the time of registration, or those who are known to be unable to obtain related academic qualification before December 2021;
  3. Failure to obtain specific recognized academic documents at the time of registration;(For mainland China students)
  4. Failure to obtain a legal entry visa to Macau at the time of registration; (Mainland China residents must hold student visas)
  5. Those whose results of health examination do not meet the requirements of the university;
  6. After the student accepts the offer and settles the tuition fees, if he/she fails to register student status out of personal reasons, his/her enrollment qualification will be canceled. The tuition fees will not be refunded or transferred, and no extension of enrollment can be applied;
  7. Other circumstances in which the University has decided to cancel the admission due to cheating in the exam, violation of academic ethics, misconduct or damage to the University's reputation, etc.
